This evening, mine had some slices of Ham that were past their best - ber-limey you should've seen them! It was like a Six Nations Rugby Scrum I wondered if there were any Rugby scouts in the area, but couldn't see any. LOLAll the best - Glutton 4 Punishment

A friend in the village threw a couple of old cooked sausages out to his. They attacked them - we suspect they thought they were snakes!Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

Onions in huge quantities would be bad for dogs and humans but in "normal" quantities will do us nothing but good so I dare say this applies to chickens as well. I give mine garlic to help control worms and have never had any problems.
I believe you would have to eat many pounds of onions a day to cause any ill.

I've just Googled onions and dogs and all I've read does suggest onions are very bad for dogs in any quantity. Most say garlic is OK though. Googling onions and chicken is altogether different as it's mainly recipes that comes up! However the one website I did find says onions and garlic are fine for chooks. I think it's all down to different digestive systems.
