To be honest the plan was to Munch them all as we dont have any room left for layers, however my husband is going to goo goo gaa gaa over them. Not sure he will be able to bring himself to it!

That's cool - I really want to grow my own for the table. I dont think my wife is that keen about it now.. Perhaps in the future

I'm sure I read somewhere that commercial farmers breed a sex linked chicken, which displays a different colour male and female from birth. I can't remember what the mix was though.

The little brown one is getting bullied already. There is a sunny spot in the box and they are all standing in the sunshine apart from the little brown one, who has to retreat to the lamp!
