I wonder if she was originally stolen?she has an outstanding shape for he breed....
It makes you wonder why someone who obviously can't look after hens would have an outstanding example of a breed - also one who is relatively tame too. I smell a rat as well!!

If the R.S.P.C.A. can take away a well loved dog because he's too fat I'm sure they can do something for chickens! They have mighty powers!!

Yet another instance of "they're only chickens".

right, defra and council animal welfare officer tomorrow. a very nice lady phoned from the rspca to confirm she had visited and told me it was the 8th time!!!
Unfortunately, Mildred the buff orpington passed away in my arms this morning, despite our best efforts, she enjoyed the past 2 weeks, lice free, well fed, watered (tylan dosed!) dust bath. She has definately been someones family pet in the past, she seemed pretty old to me.
I am going to shut that monster of a man down if its the last thing I do.

Good news. These people should be stopped. It's not fair to the good breeders anyway - tars them all with the same brush.
