Laying query ?

My 3 girls are all laying in different places even though there are 3 nesting boxes in the coup. Daisy is managing to lay in the nesting box but Echo is laying in a hard -to -reach corner and Hazel is just laying outside on the ground. Has anybody got any advice on how to get them all laying in the boxes ?

Hi Country Chic... it's not unusual for this to happen with new layers and they normally get into the right routine after a while. You could encourage them by keeping them in the coup for a day when the weather is cooler. Or you could try putting some golf balls in the nesting boxes to show them the way.

More desperate solutions may be to install Sky TV, put curtains up in the nesting boxes, provide a feather mattress or apply interior decoration and fancy wallpaper to the nesting boxes. Have you tried feng shui? ~;0)
