Wow! What a variety. We have diddy ones at the mo. Do they get bigger the longer the hens have been laying?
My blog...life with two mad children, one even more insane husband, too many jobs for my own good, trying to grow lots of veggies and now hen owner.

OH kepps making meringues(spelt right?) as the birds are laying like mad,all sorts of shapes and sizes, had one meringue the other week and the centre was a bit chewy and as i chewed it ,it stuck to a rear filling and pulled the whole thing out, cost me three figures to get a repair done, she will have to stop using all the yolks making ice cream or i will spend my wages in the dentists..........mind you the ice cream is wonderful......

Yes, the older birds lay bigger eggs. By the end of their first year laying you'll get some big ones.

You can make sorbet using the whites...... Just a fruity syrup (my favourite was raspberry, I had some over-ripe rasps and I mashed them with sugar), part freeze it, then add beaten egg-white and freeze the rest of the way. I'll look up the proportions!
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.
