Horizontal Automatic Door

Hi,

We were thinking of getting an automatic door opener, but most I have seen are for vertical doors and ours slides automatically. Has anyone experience with horizontal door openers? Do they work? Or is it possible to change it to vertical?

Haven't got one but I thought they closed by gravity so you'd have a bit of a job shutting it! Can you alter your door to up and down then problem solved! Simples!

I recently bought an automatic door opener and never looked back and I was chuffed with myself for putting it together. Take a look at some videos on You Tube. I bought mine from Chuxaway, they sell a door kit so you can adapt from horizontal opening to vertical which I bought as well.
