I'm in agreement with RH and Petal. I don't think anyone on here makes the decision to cull lightly, yourself included but you do need to draw a line somewhere and if she can cope with a reasonably chickeny life then well and good. if not, then that's when it gets difficult. i also remember each and every animal who has ever been part of our household - they are all special!

I had to cull one of ours back in December as she couldn't live outside in the cold and maintain her weight and it was hard because she was well in herself and bright of eye. It was the right thing to do but made much more difficult as she wasn't at deaths door.

I dont envy your decision, good luck with it all xx

'Move on' doesn't mean forget her, it means accept that she's gone and do whatever comes next! I had to 'move on' when I lost my Gemma dog last September. I got Shadow in February, and I love him, but he will never make me forget her (especially while her photo is my avatar pic)
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.
