Hampshire Chicken supplier recommendation

Hi,

I am hoping to get my first few chickens in a couple of weeks. Can any body recommend any good suppliers in Hampshire? I live halfway between Portsmouth and Winchester.

Sorry I can't help there but I'll follow the thread so's I can indulge if Mr EB ever relents on the chicken and space issue.

I've seen a couple of ads in the echo but don't know of their reps or anything.

Hi Jonny.

cant help directly in hampshire but if you dont mind travelling a little i know two good suppliers Just inside West Sussex one in Fontwell and another near Storrington. Ill find details when i get home and post if its any help.

That would be great, my parents live in West Sussex and I pass both of those places fairly regularly.

I could just look in the yellow pages or trade press but I feel more comfortable buying them from somewhere with a recommendation.

Sorry for the Delay - The ones at fontwell are SPR http://www.users.zetnet.co.uk/spr/

They used to be speciallist breeders but now are a general smallholer centre supplying animal feeds fencing etc.

They still supply Chicks and do a large range of feeds, accessories and houses etc.

They cant however supply the light Sussex im after though but they have reccomended
