  • Quick Egg Cleaning Question

    My hatching eggs from ebay have arrived, all 28 of them!

    Some are quite dirty, do I have to clean them if so.......... how on earth do I get hard ground on poo off???

        send them back straight away- never put badly soiled eggs in the incubator, it harbours disease. There is no need to allow eggs to get like that if you collect regularly- if you don't collect regularly partial embryo development can take place- ie the hen sitting between lays. Disgraceful but not at all surprising for e bay. May I recommend you contact people on the practical poultry forum for a reliable source of eggs in future?
