Duck egg pipped but I'm worried....advice needed please!

Oh, that's sad, but an identical situation I was in with one of my Orpington Chicks. I helped one, and it survived, but was 'iffy' for several days. The other one I didn't help and it died. I felt absolutely awful. The weakling is catching up well, it has a couple of bent toes, but this doesn't seem to be hindering it.
