Vent sexing - has anyone used it successfully?

Hello,
I haven't been on for a while.

Just wondered if anyone used vent sexing on chicks to help keep down the males? I have been rehoming my males up til now fairly successfully but its the girls folk want, and its pretty daft to take up space and feed on the boys. I'd like to try vent sexing so they can be culled younger and just wanted to know if any grapes used the method (successfully or unsuccessfully). I'm thinking of doing one last hatch this year to try it out and have trawled Google images for help....

It takes a long time to train to vent sex. I have a book which has about 20 pictures and explains each one and I still can't see the difference. It'd be even more difficult on a wriggling little chick! Do some autosexing ones then you'll know for sure.

I think there are bantam welbars and rhodebars. There's someone on Poultry Chat forum who does them. You could try asking on there.
