Do I remember right with Flummery being a henkeeper of some years. Will have another search of the chook thread.

If you'e had a fox or other vermin attack, then I'd say it is shock. I would also advise keeping them warm, and quiet, and giving them some treats, such as warm mash and a few goodies to tempt them. Hope they (and you) perk up soon.

Thanks G4. 2 of them are still laying on their sides with eyes closed, but still breathing.

They are on growers pellets, but I have chick crumb if I mix that with a little warm water will that be good?

                Hi,

                Sorry to hear this.

try them on a boiled egg mashed up, seems to work if any of mine are of there food, keep them warm and dark and hopefully Sue or Richmond will be along soon.

                Thinking of you here. Mandy

I would concur with soft foods as this appears to be the regular theme on advice given on the net. Scrambled eggs or chopped up boiled eggs is often mentioned.
Wishing they and you perk up and have some luck soon.

Ok Ok I know I am a pain, but.... its your fault for being such a great bunch...

I turned the heat lamp off because I was worried they would over heat being fully feathered and out doors for a couplke of months but they are feeling cold again, is it possible they would over heat if I turn it back on?

I know this may be a blonde question ( I am blonde) but my head is all over the place.

Cold is probably a bigger problem, just keep checking and if they seem cold, they need warm! If you can adjust the height of the heatlamp, raising it will give less concentrated heat. The other option is a hot-water-bottle covered in cloth (old towel?) which the mobile ones can lie on or next to if they feel the cold.
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

They'll move away from the lamp if they're too warm, Munch. If you run out of Crumb, you can always mash your Layer/Grower Pellets with warm water to make a mash. They should respond well to scrambled egg though!

Keep the heat for shock - just move it further away as said.

Can I ask.... probably unrelated...... we bought a minorca with a massive comb that flopped over her eye now it is almost standing up and she can see out of both eyes, its half the size it was.... could it be related to shock?
