  • Where are those fluffy bums?

Not exactly what you expect to see in a "Fruit & Vegetable Showcase" but there is a fluffy bum class - with only three entries so far! That surprises me! I thought there were proud chicken owners and hundreds and hundreds of chooks here, come on ladies, don't be shy....

It's not everyday you get the chance to win a Fluffy Bum Contest!

All my ladies are moulting still, so look more like battery hens than fluffy bums!

All of them, oh dear, but at least they'll be through by the time it gets cold...only a few of mine are moulting yet (I actually took the pics yesterday, lovely day it was) - it always amazes me how many of them wait until it's really really nippy and then get rid of their plumage, underwear and all, and look like potatoes with a few feathers stuck in.
Maybe you should enter yours in the "three potatoes" class ;-)

Mine won't stand still for long enough. Though to be honest, I'm not sure I would really with someone waving a camera in my nether regions... Maybe I need to position myself in the kitchen with a zoom lens and see what I can get from there?

Great - I can't view it yet for some reason but I saw that lovely plate of eggs, very nice!

Perkin, congratulations on the fantastic view from your kitchen window, and well done!
