i have put a dust sheet over the coop to cover the window cos of the flashes. maybe i should take it off cos now i am worried about airflow! thoughts please. thanks. x

They probably won't notice the flashes - hens go into a very deep sleep which is why its easier to handle them at night.
If you're worried why not take it off before you go to bed? The worst of them will be over by 9 or 10pm.
