I have two VSBi openers photo senstive. They were around £100 each but well worth it1 If I had more money I'd buy the timer too so I could set a later time for the door to open in the summer. They ahve worked non stop on the same batteries for two years. The folk who make them (in Germany)) are fantatsicllay helpful and will send replacement bits if you wire it up wrongly and it shorts (der). Also, the door can also be too LIGHT for it too operate, as I found. One of those small, dense plastic chopping boards would be an ideal pop hole door I think.
