It's cool - I need something like that. I keep dropping them on my way back to theh ouse - does my skull in! I usually balance them in my hands, or in my tshirt with the bottom of it gripped between my teeth.

The pocket for the pencil is neat!
But am I being dim - what do you use the pencil for?
Is it for the 'Thank you' notes?

I hadn't realised it was a pencil, D'oh! I thought it was a "stick" to stiffen the fabric and keep it down in the basket!

Yep, the pencil is for writing the dates on the eggs.....might even start doing it if no one pinches my pencil!

Well I showed your pics of the basket to my other half last night.
She thinks it's lovely, and very neatly done.

Anyway, feeling really clever I said 'Guess what that pocket with the pencil is for?'

She said ' Oh I expect that's for marking the date on the eggs.' -

being a bloke, I just used my shirt to make a pouch and carry in but what about making Chris one too

I really am starting to worry, a couple of weeks ago Mikey had me wondering, now you!!!...only difference is, I use my jumper as it's a hell of a lot colder here to be wearing a shirt.

My girlies have started laying a bit better again...maybe it's time for the pouch to make way for the posh basket.
