Picked up an ark from freecycle today .... the missus is well chuffed .... it needs a little bit of fixing up and i need to build a run for it .... and then we need to get all the bits and pieces we need .... and then we get the chickens!

getting chooks has been on the list of things to do for a very long time .... if it hadn't been for the missus, i probably wouldn't be looking at getting them for another year or two ....
it's a nice ark .... but it hadn't been cleaned out for ages .... a good inch thick of chickie poo in the bottom of it .... all scraped out and in the bin now .... and will give it a thorough clean later this week ....Comment
