New EEC Regs for Battery Hens

Not that we support batteries in any way, but;

Does anyone know what these are? Or where we can find them?

DD needs to know for her Uni dissertation. We've been trying to find somewhere on t'interweb that states the new cage sizes or whatever.

You mean the so called "enriched cage" the rules are more concerned with floor space per bird rather than cage dimensions,

Space - provision of at least 750 cm2 of cage area per hen, 600 cm2 of which shall be at least 45 cm high, and no cage shall have a total area that is less than 2000 cm2
