very sick hen, any advice please

hi all
i am at my wits end. my 4 year old chicken started doing watery poos today and then started to drink alot of water, she then was very lethargic and her breathing seemed not right when i shut my hens away for the night. i am dreading the morning as i fear the worst. what could this be she was fine all of today. any ideas i would be grateful. thankyou.

If she's still alive tomorrow I would take her to the vet.

Watery poos can be a sign that they're too hot and trying to cool down, but if she's the same this morning it'd probably a trip to the vet, as JM says.

Vet yes. And isolate her in case it's infectious. I've just taken one of mine to the vet's with rasping breathing and she had a respiratory infection (duh), and the whole lot of them got treated with an antibiotic. Touch wood she seems fine again now . I do hope your's is OK... Let us know how you get on?
