Ok, so I may be being thick and
to ask................but
One of my girls has taken the cockeral stance, crowing and entertaing the ladies etc
I know this can happen with a flock of girls (7) but in some species they can actually change gender, is this this the same with chooks?
I have a girl who is very broody and agressive just now... is it possible she may be on fertile eggs
Sorry for being ignorant but you guys know best.
