Beaks.. shedding?

Either she's caught it in something or do they shed the tips ever?





I tried glueing my other chooks beak back on, which was a nightmare so tempted to leave this and monitor her - any thoughts?

She may have caught it in something, hard to say. Unless it seems to be bothering her I would leave it alone.

I have a beak that looks like this. On my hen I hasten to add. I think she's caught it on something. i'm going to leave well alone!

It's come off now, all rough and stuff but she's eating ok

Will it grow back?

I dont think it'll grow back to the point it was before, as my other hens I had previous to these had their beaks seared off (battery ;/), they started to grow, but not much. I think it'll fill out a bit more. My other one who had a broken beak has broken off cleanly. This one not so much - shall take photos of both and show you what I mean.
