I'm looking for someone to dispatch and dress 10 quails for the table. Anyone out there?

I suspect outside of someone being kind and doing it in return for a drink or two you won't find anyone commercially to do such as small number.
Is it the dispatching or the dressing that's the issue? The are reasonably easy to dispatch - either use the neck dislocation method (though I have pulled their heads off which is a little messy) or chop the head off.
Plucking is very easy - I completed one in 10 mins in front of the TV and it takes me 45 minutes to pluck a chicken. Gutting is more of a pain just because access is smaller - but not too difficult.
It maybe that time is the issue - I suspect it will take at least 2 to 2 1/2 hours or so - not much you can do about that I suppose unless you can drum up some helpers!

Quail are fun to keep - but not as friendly as chickens and they can't be free range. The main problem I have with them at the moment is that I have hatched a dozen and I really can't tell who are boys and who are girls. I suspect I am just going to have to sit in with them for a bit to watch out for behavioural clues.
