If you're desperate then the only answer is to order via the vet and expect to pay more. I guess there has been a rush on as it's Autumn and most people like to worm about now. Alternatively you could order the treated pellets from Marriages. I see you are in Essex so Marriages feed should be readily available down your way.
I managed to order some Layers Pellets with Flubenvet from Farm and Pet Place - UK's one stop shop for Pet Supplies and more and spoke to the sales rep, who said that some batches of Flubenvet had been withdrawn, causing this lack of availability and that they hoped that new supplies would arrive in the next couple of months. The stock of the pellets + Flubenvet are 'use by' end October 2012. So if you need to worm your hens, get your order in quick!!
There was no information about why Flubenvet has been withdrawn. I find it very strange that there is such a news blackout about the only product in the UK which is licensed for use with poultry!
