Hello and welcome Garlic Butter. Like you I just love these chicken threads. No chickens of my own, but I feel like I could adopt some of those who feature on the boards!

Aerodynamically the bumblebee shouldn't be able to fly, but the bumblebee doesn't know that so it goes on flying anyway.

Hi there,I help out on a small organic allotment site in East London,I am desperate for my own plot but there is a five year waiting list. Only got 3 more to go !!!!!!!!

Hi Jennie,my dream is to rescue battery hens, cos although I,m not veggie, I hate the way we treat all our farm animals

Hi Headfry, Getting two more hens to increase the flock to four - you may have a 'virtual' hen!

Araucanna (Blue/green eggs) or Buff Sussex (tinted egg)?

I should be collecting them in about a weeks time from perfect poultry

The hens will need to learn how to type, but could probably be pursuaded to cluck for you!

                      Terry
The weeks and the years are fine. It's the days I can't cope with!

Lovely! The current two (Marie and Blackie) always want to go and lie in the thyme bed - so that fits in fine!
