    don't bother with it whatever you do-! save up for a second hand brinsea or similar - best advice I can give- those poly incs are rubbish. Best incubator I have is of course a buff orpington hen! its the wrong time of year to hatch by the way- wait until the spring and save yourself a load of bother- fertility will be low until then.

      Thanks Petal, I wasn't planning on incubating now it was for future use but you are right I should just use a broody hen.

          Agree with Petal, use a broody. Unless you are planning to do lots of hatches each season buying an incubator isn't really worth the money. For the thrill of just a few chicks each season a good reliable hen is your best bet.
