Merry Christmas to everyone, my sick chicken is now out of the dinning room and and CHristmas tree(after jumping out of the box) and back with the rest of the girlies in the garden
Happy christmas all, meal worm corn mix for my girlies tomorrow with a bit of rice mixed in. Some dry days would be lovely , swampy is a good description of things at the moment.
Hoping I can persuade my broody hen to not be broody over the next few days, as i'll be around to boot her out of the nest.

I had Christmas bbq at the Fireshed with some of the locals last evening.

Dogs have had bones, chooks just love their chook food so no extra's there. Altho I was a little late letting them out and poor Shirley was laying an egg at the time......once she saw Frank and the Tic Tacs eating she shot it out and ran out to join them!
Cats have been swapped, inside gone out, and vice versa. The new recruit chewed his bone lying on the xmas tree skirt under the tree. Very cute!
Some days it's hardly worth chewing through the restraints!
