Petal with the BB, is it a one off application? Just looking at Hyperdrug after reading your post - 1L for £14.99, is that the stuff you use? I know what you mean about the SS getting in your eyes, I haven't had that problem yet but as I find increasingly I am doing chooks on my own I am in need of something that doesn't require an assistant to hold the jar, "kick back" being the downside.

Rh- we used the BB weekly for a month. of course it takes a full moult until the legs are in show condition. it lasted a long time and was used on nearly 50 birds regularly. I have 2 kids helping so it makes life easier and they seem to enjoy brushing ointments on chickens. Wierdos.

Thanks Petal, think I'll stick with the one off dunk in SS for now.
