Best supplier to get chickens

Just received coop and run so now want to find a reliable source for the hens. Live in Glasgow and do not have anybody local who can advise the best place to go for the hens. I would like hybrids preferably from the following range Isa brown, Speckledy, Columbian blacktail or Black rock. If anybody can suggest a breeder I would be very grateful as I do not want to make a big mistake.
Could you also let me know is cuprinol Garden Shades ok for painting the coop?

Aren't the official black rock breeders up near you? I'd look for their recommended stockists..

Edit - the paint is fine to use too- it's water based anyway.. As a "general" rule if its safe around plants, it'll be ok for pets.

Black Rocks are indeed bred in Scotland and are fabulous hens, tough, hardy, friendly and good layers, if you google black rock hatchery you will be able to find them easily. Jane
