We have quail

I decided some time ago i'd like my own eggs along with my own fruit & veg. I begged and begged my other half but it remained a firm NO. After exploring the options he agreed to let me have some quail (we already have an aviary so accomodation wasnt a problem).

I've been researching and hunting for the last month or so and tonight i was lucky enough to find 4 lovely ladies and 1 lucky lad needing a new home. There only young but they look really healthy and well looked after.

Cant wait for my first eggs!

Btw my pen of three hens and a male began laying at 14 week not ten like it says so dont panic if they take a while to lay we now get 3 eggs a day everyday
