Hi. My dotty bird continues to lay her eggs, roll them out of whichever box she's been using - usually leaving a hole in the end and a crack in the shell - and then she just leaves them in the middle of the floor and wanders off. I can't find any logic or reason for this behaviour - she doesn't do it to anyone else's eggs, and she doesn't eat them. I think the holes are just where she's rolled it rather roughly (she's the disabled one who's unsteady on her feet). Can anyone cast any light for me please? Any ideas how to stop it? She's not using the same box all the time, or even laying at a regular time of day, so tricky to be on guard and catch her when she's just finished laying. *scratches head *
