Ah, it must have been a surprise to find all those eggs! My friends little bantam disappeared just the other day, she was so worried about her, but surprised when she kept turning up at feeding times. She eventually discovered the bantam had laid nine eggs in the middle of a patch of brambles in the field next door. She was brooding the eggs, so my friend carefully brought all the eggs into the nest box, but the bantam lost interest and stopped brooding. Much to my friends disappointment!
