Organic Layers pellets and layers mash

Does anyone go for organic layers pellets or mash and if yes where do you get them from?

I tried to search some online for delivery but the price is unrealisticly hight withe the delivery cost. And you cannot buy more for the same delivery charge that jumps as well by as much if to deliver one sack of feed.

I buy from my local agricultural store. Have a look on marriages web site. I seem to remember that you can search who stock their products.

Any online supplier is ridiculously expensive or becomes expensive after the delivery charge is added. Unfortunately I don't know any local agricultural stores in my area.

Have a look in Yellow Pages...there are a lot listed.
If there is no- one very near, it might be cheaper to pay the delivery charges than pay the petrol?
Maybe order double what you need and store it away dry and from mice?
Do you perhaps know another chook owner who lives nearby who might alternate with buying them to reduce the cost of petrol?

I notice that Pets at Home sell 5 kg organic pellets for £7.50
( always worth knowing for an emergency!)

I don't think you will get much better delivery than the one BB has posted.
Is it chicken food you are after or quail feed as that will be more expensive again? If you are starting from scratch rearing chickens there will be quite a bit of kit you will need. Wormer etc, it's informative just going for a look. Best to search for a supplier in your area.

I am after both now. I got 12 chickens, and 59 quail eggs in incubator.
