High protein starter crumbs

May I ask for advice please, where can i get game starter crumbs (need high protein feed) as I got 45 baby quails now. online could not locate anything, few country stores suggested turkey feed but even that is seasonal. At the moment i resorted to chick crumbs, but really do want to source higher protein content feed.

Turkey feed should be in now. That's high protein. You need to visit an agricultural store. Supplement the chick crumbs with oiled or scrambled eggs for the time being.

What brand of chick crumbs are you using? Non medicated? I wouldn't use medicated or acs chicken feed for quail.

wanted organic one too but no luck.

tried several stores near me both said turkey starter is out of season.

That crumb hasn't got any medication so it should be ok. Top up with egg, I often feed my turkeys on egg and they love it. I ordered turkey feed in store last time because it's difficult to get. Where abouts in Cambridgeshire are you? I can't believe that there isn't an agricultural store near by. Ordering chick feed on line will make it an expensive hobby.
