what's your setup like?

My set up is as follows:

Hay in the nest box
Fine chipped/hay in the coop where they roost

I put quite a bit of hay in the run too which is just bare earth beneath it.

Everyday I go and pick up the droppings.

What's your setup like? I'm hoping to get a roof put over the run before winter this year to try and minimise the muddiness but we'll see!

Iv just made a tempory run at the min wgilst they eat all of last years kale...its a jungle. we got our chickens on saturday and i made the coop on sunday. a variety of chickens 5 in all and we get some nice colour eggs

Take some pictures & save them until later in the year there is a class for .. A plate of eggs .. in the virtual vine show
