I'm down to 1/2 eggs a day now too. Bit annoying, I used to dunk/sin bin - but then thought about it, and now just let them get on with it. Figured something along the lines of who am I to interfer with nature

Tempted to get some eggs (edit: to hatch), but my wife would ring MY neck!

Haha yeah I'm the same my girlfriend would get too attached and I wouldn't have the space to keep them so they'd have be given away. When the time comes to re stock my flock I'll definitely either get day old chicks so I know they are female or take a chance and hatch my own

My Orp decided to go broody yesterday, which is typical since the eggs I put in the incubator are hopefully due to hatch in 3 days! I've sat her on some golf balls at the moment just in case the incubator ones are a flop, that way I can slip some eggs under her if need be.
