What's cloudy eye? ( Just Googled ) Checked chuck and her eye sees fine probably the light.

Vermex and Smite where accepted as a natural wormer or is that not correct as the discussion with the vet was around appropriate herbal rather than chemical preventatives as I understand Flubenvet to be. If it is worms then I'm not happy what so ever.

Have you had a proper post mortem examination? I am thinking possible coccidiosis although the birds usually show signs before death.

Coccidosis usually only happens in young chicks/ poults but even so coocidosis is worms.

Vermex and smite are preventative wormers and can be used alongside flubenvet but not instead of. Agricultural stores sell it but as you've only 3 birds I would suggest you get a bag of medicated feed from your agricultural store.

Decided after the death of another bird to get rid of the last bird and do a full sterelization. Both birds have been on Flubenvet and seen by the vet he found no issues with them and gave them the all clear the other bird died exactly the same way as the others. BTW the closest poultry vet to us is over 50 miles away so I have to go with the vet I have as I have no transport.

Open her up and have a look. There are plenty of pictures that you can compare.

Worms can cause heamorrhage. Unless you had a worm count done he wouldn't be able to tell.

Were the symptoms similar?
How big is their run and do you move them to fresh ground regularly?

Hi Veggiechicken and others All deaths have been similar fine one minute dead the next.

I saw this bird at 9am in the nest box laying, then at 11am today eating and drinking walking round at 3pm I noticed one chuck popped my head in the run and saw the other one just slumped with her insides protruding and bloody I also noticed blood drops on the bark she had not been dead long as she was limp not stiff, and warm still.

The Run is around 10ft long 4 to 5ft wide and around 10ft hi it's built on flag stones but is barked they also have a separate soiled area which is fenced of at around 10 ft long and 6ft wide.

I was going to pic up two new chickens tomorrow however as there has been this new death I have canceled until I can ensure the last chuck is healthy and clear of whatever killed the others I was going to dispense her but felt it wasn't the right thing to do so I'm just going to continue the worm treatment and deep clean the hutch and the run as soon as I psosibly can

Can you move the last chook to a different piece of ground - one that the chickens haven't used?
Then you can clean out the coop and runs thoroughly, rather than working around the chicken.

She can only go on the soil area but that's where the other chucks have been the only other place would leave her open to being eaten by the dogs.

It's been a number of weeks since I lost the two Bluebells and since then I have wormed the remaining chuck who has been doing fine. I have also now replaced with two more Warrens who have also been on worming program one mistake I made when I bought these was I allowed the people I bought them from who work at an open farm to pic the chucks one is not point of lay and had a bad case of scaley leg mites which i have been treating with a white paraffin cream and she has made good progress. Next time I will pic my own though.

Quick update. The chuck which had the scaly leg mites is coming on really good it was that bad that she was having problems walking comfortably the actual scales on the legs had lifted so much that as the mites have died off the scales have come away so now her legs are just skin but nice and pink and no longer causing her pain I'm made up with her progress.

Please keep us informed on any further updates on the original problem--it will be interesting to see if it re-occurs now that Flubovet is being used.
Scaley leg is not a problem I have ever encountered, but reading your post, it seems to be well under control.
