Linda and John.
Paul, make sure you're ready to accommodate them as you'll need to separate them from your existing hens for a while. Its only a couple of weeks to go!
Yep everything is in place. I have a coop and enclosed run right next to my (non laying) cross breed mixed variety hens. So they can get used to each other through the fence
I'm looking to increase my chickens from 2 to maybe 20 or so.
Does anybody know if any are available in the Lancashire region?
Thanks
Darren
That's a lot of birds...you may be better with a staggered lot. I found that if you had a mix of new and old you always get an egg. Have them all in one go and you can guarantee that they will all go broody/ or have a rest at the same time and stop laying.
