  • Getting Ready For Elsie, Gert & Maud

So we are getting 3 ex bats sometime soon so the OH has been busily creating a compound for them as we can't let them go free range.

So, I thought I would share this photo saga........he's become a bit obsessed about them not getting too bored and has not made the swing or finished the run yet..

How it was pre free coop

And now look what the daft begger has created.....

Oh and now it's going round the corner to include.....my mini rose box.

        I think it's lovely!

And since we all know that you will spend ages out there watcing their chickeny antics, you may as well ask him to build you a comfy bench while he's at it.

No need for a comfy chair - do you honestly think I am going to get anywhere near the little critters?

The patio is now 3ft smaller in 2 directions and the table and chairs are squidged in the L shape he is building. I put my foot down at him building a slide.
