Poor old Elsie, Gert and Maud as if they have not had enough to contend with being ex bats they now face moving home with us.
I was thinking that the night before we move I could put them in a box while they are all sleepy and take them to our new home.
It has a secure out house with a lockable door and window.
I thought if I laid some straw down and left 2 boxes on their side as well as food, water and grit for the morning do you think they will be OK until their hen house turns up on the van.
The van would be due about mid day and once their house is off I could re load it with fresh straw etc and then let the Freaky Beaky Sisters loose in their new run. They would not have long to investigate as it will be dark before 5 by then.
What do you all think?
