Watery whites

Hi, I have a 3 yr old cuckoo maron, my best layer, but the whites of her eggs have become really watery. I've tried deworming the flock, and add a bit of vinegar to their water as advised by Mr Google, but with no improvement. She seems young to have this problem, and the others are all on the same (varied) diet and lay perfect eggs.

Has anyone any ideas or a tied and tested wondercure??

You say she is a cuckoo Maran....is she a hybrid or a pure bred. It does make a difference, hybrids really don't last that long, 3 years of laying and they are more often than not on their last days of egg laying.
How long are you keeping the eggs for, do you collect promptly, where do you store them?
What fo you feed them on?

She's a hybrid, still laying around 4 eggs/ week. I collect them daily and they're kept at room temp. I feed the girls layers pellets with c.20% mixed corn, plus fresh greens/veg daily and they have ad lib mixed grit.

Hybrids really are short lived compared to traditional breeds. They are bred for many eggs per week unlike traditional Marans that rarely lay 4eggs a week in year 4. I think it's probably general decline in egg quality due to age.

Watery whites are usually associated with older eggs.
