Completed my flock today.

I got a golden maran, a leghorn (white), two silver seacrest bantams and a little bantam that's completely black. Her beak, comb, legs, eyesI as well as feathers are as black as could be. I didn't catch the name of the breed. I'll take photos tomorrow and put them up.

That's Sebright not seacrest but I can't edit for some reason. They're a beautiful looking bird.

What colour eggs will the black hen lay?

All my bantams will lay cream/white eggs as far as I know. I haven't looked up how regular that will be yet.

Another look before work and the little girl definitely looks pure black. I'll get photos after work and I should know better then.

Your leghorn will lay very well and fairly big eggs for the size of bird. I love my leghorns, they are real charicters

Once again I'm struggling to get photos up here, it wont work for me unless I resize them somehow.

The black bantam is laying small white eggs, a lot bigger than I expected based on her size. The Maran (I'm not convinced it's actually a maran at all, it has feathers on its legs) layed a medium sized light brown egg so I'm happy enough with them. The other three freeloaders haven't produced yet.
