completely off the subject but suitably vile, a dog once peed up my back I was sat eating a picnic in our local watersports park and a terrier of some description walked behind me and cocked it's leg up my back Had no idea what was happening until I felt a warm sensation and the kids started laughing uncontrolably
Our chickens will pinch the horses tea and they are silly enough to step aside and let them. Dont forget if they free range they will dig up new seedlings and eat the veg patch !!!

Am now happy - I can get out in the polytunnel again with the warmer weather.
I've had such a good laugh reading all these posts!
I've never seen my chooks with a frog, but did see them chasing one another round the garden once with blood running down their beaks as they snatched the soggy prize from one another. Took a while to realise they were feasting on my gorgeous, ripe strawberries!
My husband was almost sick once when he saw our hens fighting over a live, very large toad. There were (apparently) bits flying all over the place. They have also followed me into the feed shed and caught mice too. My children also love collecting slugs to feed to them.
