Hi all
I promised a friend that I would ask this question for her.
She has a Maran that walks in a funny kind of crouchy waddle (only way she can describe it)
She says that the bird seems otherwise healthy, scratchng, eating and drinking and laying, but her belly has now started to go bald and look red.
She inherited these hens when she bought the house she lives in and would like to know if any more experienced hen keepers have any ideas on how to help her hen out or what it could be. She is getting a bit concerned
She did ask me, but as I'm a novice myself, I wasn't much use to her.
Thanks in anticipation
Kirsty
PS its not the crouchy thing they do to let you pick them up, she does it all the time
