    These came in a packet of wildflower seeds, but I have no idea what they are. Any suggestions?��

    I know them as Four o’clock flowers because they open in the late afternoon. Their posh name is Mirabilis japlapa. They are scented and perennial but I don’t know how hardy they are.

        They're not fully hardy. They have tubers like dahlias.

        There's a pretty, depending on taste, broken colour variety.

        Seeds are big and easy to handle.
