  • How do you plant your plug plants

Just out of curiosity how do you plant your plug plants, myself, if I get any that have been grown in compost that have been contained in those small net bags I cut and remove the netting, as I have found that if they are planted out in those bags you don't get a good root system forming, and the plugs grown in cells are usually quite root bound, and with them I tease the roots out a bit and when planting on or out I like to plant them into a compost soil mix which I think helps the transition into garden soil, and of course the above is applicable to veg plugs as well
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

I usually cut a slice in the fibre/ net plugs. But don't actually take it off. Just plant it and Let the plant sort itself out. Plugs out of plastic cells again just plant it and they fend for themselves.
