Geranium phaeum on moist kitchen roll in the fridge. Will try sowing them after a couple of weeks.

They've already started germinating, so some of them are going into modules today. Thought these were supposed to be hard to grow from seed!

Cerinthe - 6 seeds planted - 6 seedlings around 4 days later
Eryngium Blue Lace - 1st phase of heated propagator, will move to 2nd phase of cold garage in 2-3 weeks time

Got the remaining sprouting Geranium phaeum seeds into modules. Also sown some Heleniums (Western mix and Rubinzwerg).

I've got sweetpeas coming up on the windowsill and my spreadsheet tells me I mustn't sow anything else until February. Bah!

Started everlasting sweet peas in pots on windowsil yesterday. Seed packet was expensive but only 27 seeds in packet. Here's hoping at least 20 germinate. I did soak them overnight as said on packet.

A pinch of Zaluzianskya sown far too soon as a test for viability. (Packet dated 2017)
They came up very quickly.
Now what the devil am I going to do with them!! Poor little half hardy things!
Still at least I know that it will be worth sowing them later on when Spring is here.

Sowed some annual lupins, a packet of petunias, and geranium pratense (hardy mixed blues) seeds today, in pots on the windowsill.

Sowed some own saved seed from last year. All from plants that did particularly well and that I have enough seed to have another go later on if it should go wrong!!
Nicandra (shoo fly plant), Snapdragons, orange Calendula.
Holding off to sow gomphrena strawberry fields because I havent got many of them to gamble with.

I've never grown annual lupins but I've just got myself some. I hope they put on a good show - I love lupins.

Hmm, I've got didicus, nicotiana, bellls of Ireland...all half hardy. Sow now and keep on windowsills or wait? I need windowsills for my toms.
Wondering if I get them germinated now indoors, would they be ok in the greenhouse.

Almost certainly be fine in the GH once they're germinated and in to growth - best to keep an eye on the weather forecast just to be on the safe side, and bring them in over night if we get any really frosty weather.
