Good idea burnie!
I potted on Mixed Osteospermums, Ammi, Mixed Mesembryanthemum, Pink shades Clarkia and Tetra Mixed Cosmos - all sown a couple of weeks ago and today I sowed Calendula Buff Beauty.

How do you do that?

I found sowing them outside gave no results, they just got swamped by weeds etc (or possibly I weeded them).

The only success are narcissus round the bas of the strawberries.

I've got lavender on site, and I leave the dandelions alone as far as possible. I've got stock and echinacea in seed trays in the greenhouse.

I'll try and get some more out this year somewhere.

I've sown a few more zinnias today.

Lots of flower seedlings potted on - Clary from NG, echinacea from VC? cosmos from WPG. Bishops children and a few other things.

Sowed today....
All old seed packets that have been opened sometime in the last five years and thrown back in the shoe box.
Nicotiana perfume deep purple,
La Bamba tagetes/marigold,
celosia flamingo feather.

Making an effort to use up some of my accumulated seed packets.
If they germinate, good, I’ll either find a space for them, or pass the seedlings on to neighbours.
If they don’t I’ve got rid of them.
Only about another 100 packets to work through!
Fingers crossed!
