Nice one , you're way ahead of my overwintered ones. I didn't have room to start indoors this year (some outside influences made me grow way too many tomatoes instead ) so I waited until some had started sprouting before potting. The biggest ones are about 6-8 inches high and some of them are only just starting to poke shoots through the surface. The majority of mine don't normally start flowering until July at the best of times.

I love dahlias but like yours mine don't often flower till July. So my garden lacks early colour.
As I'm not good with spring flowers - I need early flowering annuals really that I can dig up and replace with the dahlias.
Quite chuffed this year though - some areas of my garden are looking lovely!Last edited by Scarlet; 18-05-2019, 11:04 AM.

My dahlias which I bought as tubers from Lidl earlier in the year are flowering.
Stars Favourite and Le Baron.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
