Hi all - has anyone got a Hibiscus? I put one in last year. Today it has no obvious leaf buds. Should it be in bud now or is it too early?

Too early for mine to have leaves, I seem to recall end of April beginning of May last year but I didn’t take that careful a note. Flowered in June though as have photo on my phone.Comment

I have an orange hibiscus but it has never lost its leaves in the winter. We don't get it as cold here as in the UK but we sometimes get snow. I always thought hibiscus was evergreen.Comment
