What do the leaves smell like? I thought..... one of the mint varieties? lemon balm? and then catnip

I think it's cat mint, although I'm not sure... mine never got that big last year. My cats ate it and got high too often lol

Pretty blue flowers over quite a few weeks in early summer. Nice in a vase, especially with other cottage-type flowers. Bees love it too.
If you cut it back after flowering, you will get more, smaller flowers later on.Last edited by Babru; 09-04-2019, 08:15 AM.Mostly flowers, some fruit and veg, at the seaside in Edinburgh.

Had a smell of the leaves. Not terribly minty but did have a fairly strong smell. Have put outside as I could do with the space. Once I’ve done the front garden will plant it and see how it does. If it does attract cats I’ll be getting rid as I’m working hard to get more birds into my garden.
